Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2 (2008)

Aston Martin Racing revealed the first official pictures of the Vantage GT2. The above pictures were taken earlier in the month when AMR had an out of season practice session at the Paul Riccard Cuicuit in France were the GT2 is seen in unpainted carbon fibre bodywork. The Vantage GT2 is the most recent racing car from Aston Martin Racing and completes its portfolio of GT cars in each of the four categories GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4.The Vantage GT2 has been designed to run on both standard and E85 bio-ethanol fuel.

Drayson-Barwell are currently running chassis 001 in the 2008 American Le Mans Series and are planning to bring the GT2 V8 Vantage to Le Mans for 2009.
